A nationwide children's survey of the senses
Inviting children across the UK to take part in Life’s Big Questions – an interactive exploration for ages 7+ into the amazing potential of the human brain and nationwide children’s survey into the senses.
Five FREE challenges each with short introducing videos hosted by Martin Dougan (CBBC Newsround).
Join us to ask big scientific and philosophical questions rooted in the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child about how we experience the world and why the senses aren’t as simple as they seem. Watch the video below to find out more.

“Life’s Big Questions takes you 15 minutes, on a journey of knowledge and curiosity. I used it at the end of the day and it is a great way to wonder and learn concepts that are not included in the National Curriculum. Dreamachine has gone beyond and has given us the opportunity to develop art and science skills unimaginable for the primary curriculum but essential for children.”

“My class have thoroughly enjoyed participating in Life’s Big Questions. I used it as a stimulus to teach asocial sciences, epistemology, biology, physics, and much, much more. It became, for five weeks, a part of our weekly routine and we are genuinely sad that it has come to an end.”
